That is a gorgeous car. I want one, exactly like that.

How exactly does one go about getting into the automotive journalist field deep enough for Porsche to lend them a car to test?

This was going to be my next car. Until I moved to Austin. Crappy, traffic-filled roads, no shoulders. It is killing my G35, so I will be getting a Jeep 'cause I don't want another truck. I want the Porsche damn it!

The elemental sports car.
so close to current technology's expression of a perfectly balanced sports car.
And now, with 981, it looks as good as it's chassis and butter-smooth H6 engine are.
Either Sapphire Blue or otherwise a nice sublime alloy silver with a red interior, rather than white, but that is merely a preference.

I can see one in the future for me, but I'd be more likely to get a Boxster as a second car.
But of course, by the time I could afford one (as in when they've depreciated on the used market), I suspect that a C7 'Vette would be in a similar price range, and I don't know which I would get.

Well by the time they depreciate enough and I can afford one, we'll all be driving autonomous cars and fuel prices may be at a premium so I'll go Boxster, because its better on gas. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
